This contemporary retreat overlooking the sea is an idyllic base for exploring the area within easy reach of the Harbour/ Westport Quay and the Greenway. Ideal for one or two sharing . A well behaved pet welcome . Please bring pet’s bed .. and throws .. if they’re a sofa snuggler ! And read our particular requests at house rules .

The space
Seaside and woodland location on the Wild Atlantic Way in a quiet residential cul de sac and situated in a beautiful garden, abundant with flowers, shrubs, and mature hardwood trees, framed by views of Clew Bay and Ireland's best known mountain, Croagh Patrick . The cottage is timber framed offering separate living room, dining room, upstairs mezzanine bedroom and downstairs wc and shower room facilities. Guests have their own " Secret Garden " with a couple of adirondack recliners to relax in and enjoy the surroundings .

And guests with electric/hybrid cars have access to EV charger . Please let us know in advance so we can give you access.

The sound and sight of the sea, the natural beauty of this tranquil and verdant place , and its proximity to the Heritage town of Westport make it a unique destination . The award winning pub and restaurant , Cronin's Sheebeen , is just 500m from the cottage and an easy walk along designated pathways and boardwalk.

Westport is served by train and bus connections, Ireland West airport is just 1 hour away. The area is best explored by car or bike.

Westport is an established tourism centre with great cultural, heritage and leisure facilities . It is an ideal base for outdoor adventure activities, sailing, walking and adventure events -Pedal , Paddle , Pilgrimage & Party, Gaelforce and Sea to Summit to name a few .
