Modern touches meet historic charm in this beautiful 2-level home that sleeps up to 5 guests (king size bed, double bed & sofa). A perfect spot for peace and quiet and to absorb a true Halifax experience while still being minutes from downtown! Some of the city's best bars and restaurants, and arts and culture of the north end are just around the corner. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, small groups, business travellers & families. Permit for street parking available on request.

The space
Original hardwood flooring, high ceilings, a private yard, and lots of plant life add character to this home.

The upper level features two bedrooms and a completely renovated bathroom with in floor heating. The first bedroom features a brand new king size Casper mattress. The guest bedroom features a double bed.

The main level has a huge, newly renovated, modern kitchen with modern appliances. It's stocked with all the cooking essentials. The kitchen features garden doors that provide lots of natural lighting and open up into your own private, fenced in yard.

The airy living room faces the front of the house and is the perfect spot to cozy up with a book. Our couch can sleep a 5th guest.

We are a key-free house: you can (and your group) can come and go as you please using a code for the front lock pad. This also allows you to arrive anytime of day or night.

The north end is a creative, up and coming, neighbourhood located a 20 minute walk from downtown Halifax. It has the feel of a friendly neighbourhood with quiet streets to wander through, and is home to many of the city's students, artists, and young families; but also has the buzz of a happening, growing area where you can get a feel for some of the city's best hidden gems just outside the downtown core.

This area has gone through a big transformation in the past few years bringing more restaurants, shops, and bars to the area. With microbreweries, cafes, bars, vintage stores, and restaurants, there's plenty to do within minutes of the apartment.

We are around the corner from the north end's colourful and lively, Agricola Street, and are located just a few blocks from the historic Hydrostone Market!

If you're looking for an experience in Halifax outside of the touristy downtown, this is definitely an area worth exploring.

We are within minutes to the pubs, restaurants, and cafes on Agricola Street, a 5 minute walk to the commons, and a 20 minute walk to Spring Garden Rd/Downtown.

There is ample street parking available on nearby streets (residential parking pass available on request) and a paid parking lot a few blocks away with $6/day parking.
