Private Residence
Villa U MARI is designed as a private residence and retreat. Events, parties, or gatherings of an event-like nature are therefore not permitted.
Any commercial use of the villa – including professional photography or filming for advertising or social media – requires our prior written approval.
Pets
Out of consideration for other guests and to protect the villa’s high-quality interiors and furnishings, pets are not permitted.
NATURE & MINDFULNESS
The Landscape
Villa U MARI is set within an unspoilt Mediterranean landscape that provides a natural habitat for a rich variety of wildlife and insects. We invite you to treat this special environment with respect and to leave nature as undisturbed as possible.
Plants may not be cut, picked, or removed anywhere on the property or within the patios.
Mindful Use of Resources
Water and energy are particularly precious resources on an island. Using them thoughtfully is an important part of our approach.
Please switch off lights, air conditioning, and electrical appliances when they are not in use, and be mindful of the use and changing of bed linen and towels.
Clearly marked recycling and waste containers are provided by the turning area.

The materials, furnishings, and objects throughout Villa U MARI have been selected with great care and form an integral part of its character. Treating them with consideration helps us preserve this quality for years to come.
In the kitchen, only clean and completely dry dishes and glassware should be returned to the cupboards.

Even with the greatest care, accidents can happen. Should anything be damaged or broken, please let us know promptly – openness allows us to find a simple and fair solution.

The villa’s facilities, amenities, and technical equipment are at your disposal throughout your stay. Please use them in accordance with the relevant operating and safety instructions.
POOL & WELLBEING
The pool is a place for relaxation and tranquillity. To ensure that you can enjoy it safely and comfortably, we ask you to observe a few simple guidelines:
Children must never be left unattended in the pool area.
Diving and glassware are not permitted.
Please shower before entering the pool.
Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the pool.
Please use the outdoor shower for soap and cleansing products.
Pool equipment rooms and technical settings must not be accessed, adjusted, or altered.
SAFETY & FIRE PREVENTION
Safety
When leaving the villa, ensure that all doors and windows, including sliding doors and windows, are closed and that the alarm system is activated. Safety equipment must not be altered, obstructed, or disabled.
When exploring the outdoor areas, please use the designated paths and observe all safety guidance. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times throughout the property.

Smoking & Fire
Villa U MARI is entirely smoke- and vape-free. This applies to all indoor and outdoor areas of the property, as well as the surrounding landscape.

This includes, in particular, candles, torches, fireworks, and any other form of open flame.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Our House Manager will personally welcome you to Villa U MARI and will also be there to assist with your departure.

Please share your approximate arrival time with her two days before your stay. Observing the agreed arrival and departure times allows us to prepare the villa for your stay with the care and attention it deserves.
PARKING
Four private parking spaces are available for your use throughout your stay. For loading and unloading, you are welcome to drive directly up to the villa.
