The cabin is located 120 kilometers from Tromsø (1 hour and 45 minutes by car), and 6 km from Skibotn center. It’s the perfect place for hiking, northern lights watching and fishing. There are also various possibilities for both off-road cycling and skiing. The panoramic view over the Alps of Lyngen, the fireplace, the sauna and the traditional outdoor compost toilet, make the place exotic. In winter you must fetch water from a nearby river/well, and use the sauna oven or the stove to heat it.

The space
Exceptional panoramic views and location in front of the fjord and the Lyngen Alps. According to the Aurora Borealis observatory, Skibotn is the third best place for Northern Lights experiences in Norway, when the sky is clear during the season. You can also find popular fishing spots along the sea shore. Cool down and relax in the hot sauna after a day outside in Skibotn's beautiful, wild and quiet nature. Visit the nearby village Manndalen to discover traditional Sami crafts (indigenous). If you come during the summer, you might want to attend the annual Riddu Riddu festival in Kåfjord, which is an international indigenous festival with music, art, theater and dance, etc. ( Only 50 kilometer, approximately a 45 minutes drive to the Finish border. An ecofriendly experience in the wilderness!
