My place is close to quaint downtown Montpelier, airport, and Central Vermont hospital. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the coziness, the views, and the kitchen with updated appliances. Home is good for solo adventurers and business travelers. Finished basement has flat screen HD TV and a pool table. The home has a 925 foot wrap around deck with a table and chairs for outdoor dining in the summer looking on to the spectacular mountain views.

The space

My boys are with me 50%. They are rambunctious but respectful. We like to laugh and have fun, but also like to chill out. We have a small dog and a ridiculously friendly cat. Please no pets.

Guest access

In addition to the room and bathroom, you have access to a large living room with a cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace, the kitchen and dining area and finished basement with laundry.

Right in the heart of Vermont's fall foliage. I'm a photographer always looking for affordable accommodations in the area. Annika's home was close to Montpelier, but located in a rural area that provided privacy and reasonably quick access to I-89.

Annika's place was lovely - jus what w needed to send a weekend in Vermont. Vey close to 87 and centrally located. Annika was a great host. The driveway is long and you may feel like you are lost - once there it is paradise!

Annika has a great place! The accommodations are/were as described and the house itself is fantastic with killer views. Annika provided a clean, quiet room and everything was first rate.

I stayed at Annika’s house for 10 days. Very pleased overall. Good price for value. Annika’s house is down a very long driveway, at least a quarter mile off the road, so it feels like you are in the middle of the wilderness. If you are coming in the winter, I would be hesitant to come here unless I had a car that could handle snow and mountain roads. The house has a beautiful open living room and kitchen, with big glass windows, leading to a deck overlooking the forest. When there is no one home, it is the most peaceful place on earth: no traffic, no neighbors, only breeze and songbirds. When the whole family is home (Annika, 2 kids, cat & dog), it is an energetic fun family environment. The airbnb bedroom was a nice size, with large closet, and windows on 2 sides. The bed was a little hard, but I just folded the big quilt in half underneath me. The cat is very friendly and will come rub on you or sit on your lap. The dog seemed nice, but it didn’t really come near me. (The dog is only at the house half of the time.) There was a lot of cat & dog hair around the house, so I would not recommend it for anyone with a pet allergy. The driveway is not labeled. (The mailbox is a few 100 feet down the road.) I suggested to Annika, that she give both the address, and the GPS coordinates of the end of the driveway. I found that easiest. If you are stopping for gas, or food on your way into town, I would stop at the “Maplewood Vermont Travelers Service Center,” which has a gas station and a large nice convenience store, as well as an Applebee’s in the same parking lot. I would put that in the GPS as the first stopping point. Its only a few minutes from the house.
