Kevin was a great host – very friendly and gave us lots of tips about things to do in the area and how to get there. The property was lovely and had everything you need, located in a beautiful part of County Clare near the hot spots of Lahinch and the cliffs of Moher. I would definitely recommend staying here, but the only caveats are have a car and a good GPS cos it's in quite a rural area and a little difficult to find.

Had a one night stay on Hestakot Farm , a lovely experience ! It is about 6 km outside Miltown Malbay ,use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map to find it .Met by Kevin and his two lovely little boys immediately ,who were so friendly and welcoming. The guest accommodation is in a converted barn , the rooms have everything you need , spotless.Large shared bathroom with big shower ,again ,spotless. Well quipped kitchen area , for use at any time . Very family friendly , playground /picnic area, safe for (URL HIDDEN) heating in general area of the accommodation ,but it wasn't required ,as weather was mild. There was a heater in the (URL HIDDEN) good value for money, in my opinion ,quirky, interesting accommodation, would definitely stay again .

Really cool, unique place to stay! Would be great for young kids. My only word of caution is the stable is quite cold so bring layers!

What a fantastic place to stay in. A playground outside, a playroom and big leisure space inside (if it rains!), my kids were overjoyed when we stayed there. Good kitchen facilities, functional, clean bedrooms, a shared big bathroom, which was fine when we stayed there, but can imagine that there might be a queue in the morning. We had a wonderful, warm welcome, from Kevin and his family, our stay was a highlight of our trip. It is very well place for exploring the coast line and generally just chilling on the beautiful Emerald Isle.

Everything was clean, beds comfortable and Kevin and his wife are very friendly talkative people. However there is no wifi between 10pm and 10am which was not in the description.

Hi Sebastian, great to meet you and your friends. I hope you all enjoyed the magnificent scenery and relaxing way of life that Ireland has to offer. We consider ourselves very fortunate to live in such a rural environment with clean air and amazing landscapes. For multiply health reasons, we allow our guests to sleep without Wifi interfering with their peaceful dreams and we have had various people mention that they have never slept better than in Hestakot. Friendly greetings from us all and thanks for staying with us.
