First the good things. Jaime always responded to questions quickly. Jaime also greeted me warmly when I arrived, even though it was after 10pm. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, television, snacks, coffee, water, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and a large supply of clean towels. The bed was also clean and very comfortable.
The not so good things were the small size of the room, traffic and neighbor noise, and lack of air-conditioning. I was visiting LA to participate in a multi-day athletic event and had booked this room for a whole week. I needed a room where I could sleep soundly, and also where I could work on my laptop when I wasn't training or competing. I arrived on a very warm Sunday evening. The room was much too hot to be comfortable in with just the supplied fan. Even opening the windows, which face the street, didn't help because the outside air could not flow freely through the room. Additionally, opening the windows let in the significant traffic and neighbor noise, which made things even more uncomfortable. There also wasn't a place in the room where you could comfortably work on a laptop.
After one night, I cancelled the remaining days of my booking and moved to a hotel. That morning, Jamie offered to turn on the air conditioning, but I could not envision staying for an entire week. Incurring the cancellation costs was worth it to me.
I believe this room could be sufficient for a short stay where the room was used for only sleeping. Unfortunately, it did not meet my specific needs.
