Beautiful 4 double bed, 3 bathroom, Victorian house in the sought after area of Stoke Newington. Manor House tube takes you to Kings Cross in 10 minutes, and City and West End in 25. The property is very close to Clissold Park and Church Street, the area's lively epicentre with loads of great restaurants, shops and pubs. The house is very spacious and light, with a large open plan kitchen seating 10 both inside and in the garden. Great for families, friends, business use. Free parking for 2 cars

The space

This is a perfect base for a family or families staying together. This large 3 storey house is entirely yours and free parking permits can be provided for 2 cars.

The top floor of the house is a light and airy master bedroom with super king size bed and en-suite shower room. It has bi-fold doors looking over the 80ft garden.

On the first floor there is one double with en-suite shower, and two larger doubles, as well as a large family bathroom with bath and shower. There is plenty of room for a baby's cot, but please ask in advance for this if you need it to be provided.

The ground floor has two living rooms, one with a fireplace and one with a lovely wood burner, and a fantastic open plan kitchen diner with bi-fold doors on to the garden and patio.

The dining table seats 10 comfortably and the patio has beautiful comfy seating and table.

At the bottom of the garden there is a climbing frame with swings, a trampoline and swing ball!

There is a ground floor WC and utility room too, with Miele washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen has a dishwasher amongst other mod cons, and we can provide a high chair should you need one. Please let us know in advance. There are quite a few board games in the kitchen, you are welcome to use!

The house has a really warm and welcoming feel to it, and has been completely refurbished to a very high standard throughout, keeping the Victorian features and character while mixing this with a modern finish.

You are welcome to use all the basics for cooking etc. This is our home, so cupboards are full to the brim! Use the tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spices, olive oil, salt and pepper etc so you don’t have to purchase large quantities of things. You will find a welcome bottle of fizz in the fridge, some milk, butter and bread to get you started and information about the local area is also available. Welcome!

There is a key safe outside the property to allow for 24 hour access, we will provide the code closer to the booking.

Interaction with guests

During your stay we will be away and so a management company, Portico, will be looking after you should you have any problems or questions.

A great house with all necessary furnitures. Beautiful garden outside and children enjoyed very much. Claire is very nice to communicated. I couldn't find any unsatisfied points to say.

A lovely space in London. Beautiful home, well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. Easy walk to the tube to travel around. It is as it looks in the pictures. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

What a beautiful house! So stylish and pretty! The pictures do not lie. :) The house had 4 bedrooms and 2 of them have en suite bathrooms. We had a very comfortable stay at Claire's house. :) The neighborhood is quiet and has a lovely vibe. We never got to meet Claire as she was out for a family vacation but she gave clear instructions how to get into the house and even gave us prosecco and bread, butter and milk as part of her welcome. She was very easy to communicate with and kind. :) It's a bit far from the center of London as we normally had to take an uber which would take about 20 minutes. But we were a big group so the uber was well worth it. The tube is about 1.2 km from Claire's house so it's quite a distance to walk. There was a bus stop nearby but I always find it easier to figure out the tube lines than the bus lines so we never got a chance to try the bus. But apart from the distance, the house was a very lovely place to stay in. I would recommend staying here for families and big groups.

I thought it might be worth mentioning to anyone considering booking with us that we're out of town when guests arrive because this is our family home. That's why we work with a great management company, Portico, who will look after you should you need anything during your stay. Regarding our location, we are very close to central London here in Stoke Newington. Our tube station, Manor House, is only a 12 minute walk from our home - or you can walk five minutes to our local bus stop and the bus will get you to Manor House in three minutes. Manor House is on the Piccadilly Line which means you can be in Kings Cross in 12 minutes, Covent Garden in 17 minutes, Leicester Square in 18 minutes, Hyde Park in 22 minutes and Knightsbridge in 23 minutes. You can get to Oxford Circus in 19 minutes by just changing at Finsbury Park, the next station along from Manor House, for the Victoria Line. Ibiza, France and Cornwall are particular favourites. We are also very happy in our house in Stoke Newington as there is so much on our doorstep; amazing restaurants and pubs, fabulous local shops of all sorts and the huge and beautiful Clissold Park just round the corner.
