We created our gite, Paradis des Papillon, from a former vigneron's barn (wine maker). The village is quiet and in a stunning rural location with views of the Pyrenees and Black Mountains. The property is surrounded by vineyards and fields of sunflowers. All amenities (baker, shops, banks, pharmacy, supermarket etc) are available nearby. The perfect space for a quiet retreat but close to the Mediterranean Coast and the Pyrenees Mountains. Paradis des Papillon is the ideal place from which to explore the area including the Medieval walled city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi , local vineyards, Cathar castles and lots more. A comprehensive guide book of suggested places to visit has been prepared to help you plan your holiday stay here.
Guests have private and exclusive use of the gite and its enclosed garden, off road parking area and terraces.
