Our little apartment comfortably sleeps two, and is the perfect way to enjoy a Provence vacation on a budget. Situated on a little plaza on a pedestrian street, you will be a short walk from all that Fayence has to offer.

The space

The walls of our house were built in the 16th century, but inside you'll find all the comforts of modern life: A fully equipped kitchen, a flat screen tv with cable, high speed wireless internet, a bath and a comfy bed. A small table in front of the house is a great place to eat on sunny days (300 days per year!), and to meet neighbors and cats.

Guest access

Guests have access to all facilities in the apartment.

People who might have difficulty walking or people with small children should know that the two rooms are separated by a hallway with stairs.

Interaction with guests

Lauriane's mother, who lives in a neighboring village, will welcome you and provide all the information you may need, while happily practicing her english!

Other things to note

Fayence also boasts one of Europe's most active Aerodromes, where you can hitch a ride in a glider and get a view of the region from up high.

Lovely place - beautifully situated in the heart of the old village of Fayence. Quirky and charming - would thoroughly recommend to those visiting the south of France who want to get off the beaten track of Cannes, St Tropez, Nice etc

David and Lauriane's place was cute and very clean and their communication with us was great. It is located in a beautiful little courtyard and close to the centre of the town. We had everything we needed and our stay was very comfortable.

A great little taste of rustic French life. A beautiful 100m stroll to the center of town with ample restaurants and shops, the location is phenomenal. David and Lauriane are great hosts, quick to respond to all calls and texts. I spent many hours wandering the streets of their neighborhood at all hours of the day and night, there is so much to see. The apartment, though small, has everything you need and is quite tidy. A heads up: if you are staying in the town for Sunday, be sure to stock up on food the day before and prepare to cook because NO WHERE is open! Had quite the hungry Sunday due to poor planning. The apartment itself is not for the physically impaired as two winding staircases separate the bedroom from the living area. Who knew such a small place could have so many 'watch your head' moments! For a great sample of authentic France, this place is wonderful.

We had a lovely week staying in this flat. It's everything a couple needs, in the heart of a beautiful medieval walled village, with a patio outside to eat on. It's small yes (and not at all recommended if you have mobility issues as lots of steep stairs), but it has everything you need. It's delightfully quaint and in keeping with Fayence, and David and Lauriane have prepared it well. They are also very easy to get in touch with to ask questions, and have friends/family in Fayence minutes away to help you out if you need something in person. Fayence is a wonderful little village, which is both great to explore on foot and historic, while also having excellent amenities (including a large supermarket). We especially recommend La Gourmandine bakery, and their baguettes, plus the farmer's market Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. Le 8 is a fantastic little local restaurant run by husband and wife round the corner too, where we had an excellent dinner one evening.

The apartment was very quaint & cozy, fun to stay in. Must point out though the steps up & over to the bedroom could be challenging for some as could the shower. Lovely setting, quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Free car parking a few minutes walk away, laundromat a few minutes down the road next to the best bakery! Walking distance to nice restaurants. Loved our stay.
