We are renting a cosy room in our lovely flat. Our place is just 2min walk to the charming town centre of Castle Cary with few lovely bakeries, traditional pubs and a museum open in summer time. We are in a very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful countryside surrounds us and there are few lovely walks around. We are one mile away from Castle Cary train station and within 25min driving distance from Glastonbury and Wells. We will serve nice bread with cheese or jam for breakfast.

This is a really special place. Kena and her friends are people who truly enjoy welcoming guests. You feel it as soon as you come in and find beautiful flowers in your room and fresh spring water in the kitchen. (If Kena has time there might even be a piece of a delicious apple crumble!) I felt as if I was staying with caring friends. We had some nice chats and I was given advice about local walks and places of interest. One day they were going to Glastonbury and offered to take me along, which I gratefully accepted as I didn't have a car and it was a great opportunity to discover this town. It was a much needed break for me and staying at Kena's place made it a relaxing and refreshing experience.

Kena was lovely to us and very understanding when we had to book the same day. We had a nice rest and ate yummy banana bread that Kena made! She is very kind and her home is cozy.
