About this listing
Hi there, I'm Stepan, welcome to my place! It's located in a quiet side street in the historic center, few minutes walk from the Vltava river, the Old Town Square and many other important sights of Prague. Get a good night's sleep, enjoy restaurants on every corner and drop into the old Jewish Quarter and the medieval Old Town in our neighbourhood. Easy airport connection, a nice garden in the yard and the peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect also for business travellers. Enjoy your stay! :)
I personaly love this place for it’s calm and cosy atmosphere, like a small oasis in the middle of the historic center. It’s very quiet at night, as the house is located in a small side street. And, as you can see on the map, it’s just a few minutes walk from the Vltava river, the Old Town Square and many other sights of Prague. Even the Prague Castle is in walkable distance (up hill, though!).
The apartment has two rooms. I’m staying in one of them and you’ll have your privacy in the other one. There is a spacious hall and one bathroom for us to share. I also have a small kitchen as part of the room I live in, but for a better convenience I have just set up a small table in front of your room with a cattle, cups and some dishes, so that you can have your caffee or tee or eat some snack anytime. Your room has one double bed with two separate blankets and pillows. We also have a garden in the yard, so you’re more than welcome to go for a short walk there or just relax on the benches to get some fresh air.
‘Shtjepaan’ that’s how my name is pronounced in Czech. I was born in Prague, lived in different countries durign my life and here I’m again - at home, in the center of my favourite city! Very busy at all times, but excited about finding the time to organise and offer a nice place to stay and welcome visitors from around the world. Tourist and travellers, old and young, families, couples or single explorers, please feel all very warmly welcome in Prague!
There is an easy public transport connection from the airport (around 45 mins), I can send you detailed instructions. Alternatively a taxi or Uber costs under 500CZK/20EUR and takes around 30 mins.
Interaction with guests
Cultural tips, Prague's secret spots or main sights, or just a working desk and quiet atmosphere - I'll always do my best to make your stay as pleasant and smooth as possible for you. :) It goes without saying that I'll try to by available on the phone or in person should you need any help during your stay. Happy to assist with translation or anything else.

You can very easily explore Prague's historic center by walk. If you need to go somewhere esle in Prague, thanks to the central location of the place and public transport near by, you can get pretty much anywhere under 30 mins.

You can use Maps to find your way around - it works well in Prague.
I'll be of course happy to give you directions, too!
Other things to note
There is a free parking right next to the house, but it has a limited capacity and you have to be lucky to find a free spot. However, you can always park your car in the following facility, which is just 10 min walk from my place:
- Quite hours after 10pm
- No shoes in the bedroom to keep the carpet clean for other guests
- Quiet in the hallway before entering the apartment to keep friendly relationship with the neighbours
- Just treat this place like your own home
