STABLE COTTAGE near Glendalough
One of a group of original 18th cent. farm buildings and winner of Irish television's "Home of the Year" 2018, it is 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails. At the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind it is set in a courtyard, back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, one hour from Dublin city. It is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. A peaceful, traditional rural hideaway.
