Hi We moved to Hokitika 5 years ago and really enjoy living here by the beach in a friendly and big-hearted community. We have lived most of our time together in National Parks so it has been a welcome change to move to a coastal setting. The garden has been a joyful project. It has been a journey finding which plants thrive in coastal conditions. Daily beach-combing provides many quirky additions to the garden look. We enjoy cooking, walking and biking. We are so lucky to have the West Coast Wilderness Trail within easy biking distance from the house and often head out in the weekends for an hour or two on the beautiful trail. I hope you come and enjoy your time in our cool little town ,Hokitika.
