The space
Dating back to the 1800s, the lodge has been lovingly restored and upgraded into a stylish venue. Available for family holidays, special celebrations, weddings, corporate events and launches.

Our Chef is available to complete your perfect getaway with our award-winning dining experience, a celebratory meal or fully catered dining.

Outdoors our gardens include a covered outdoor kitchen and BBQ, a plethora of spaces to sit and relax, a permaculture kitchen garden, terraced flower beds, a forest garden, and a walkway directly into the mountains.

Your garden cabins with their luxury touches will ensure a fantastic night's sleep. Each ensuite cabin opens out into the grounds and has been designed with great care and attention to detail with all our furniture designed and made by the owners using locally sourced Irish timber. Fluffy robes are available for your rooms and Wicklow spring water from the mountains feeds your rain head showers.

Each cabin can be configured with twin beds, Super king beds or a king and a bunk sleeping 26 people in total.

The main lodge can be configured for any event, banquet or workshop. The larch chalet is situated in the grounds with rustic oak tables and restored church pews and school chairs and coffee machine and tea facilities.

An outdoor wood-burning hot tub is situated under a canopy of oak trees in our forest garden and is available for one evening of your stay at an extra charge of €250.
Treatments in our larch Chalet can be organised with our therapist at an extra cost.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the lodge. The accommodation is adjacent to a cottage in which either the owner resides or may be rented separately. The staff has access to the kitchen when cheffing, gardening or maintenance from time to time with notice. We will give guests privacy during their stay but can be available for assistance.

Other things to note
We have a two-night minimum booking on Fridays one night midweek for the exclusive hire of our venue.

We take a non-refundable booking deposit separately from Airbnb for €1000. We are a small venue that hires exclusively so it is important for guests to have their own insurance in case of a cancellation.

The property hosts the long hall, a larch cabin, The Fiery outdoor kitchen and a pavilion. Wood-burning stoves, alpaca blankets, down bedding and other little luxuries give you a warm welcome.

No parties unless by agreement and where extra insurance may be required.

Donard, County Wicklow, Ireland

The venue is situated in Glen of Imaal (Gleann Uí Mháil) near the town of Donard in Wicklow known as the 'Garden of Ireland'. A remote valley in the western Wicklow Mountains, we ringed by Lugnaquilla which is the highest point in the province.

This is a perfect location for those who want to visit our local ancient Ogham stone and stone circle. Dip their toes in the Slaney river, and visit the historic town of Baltinglass and its Abbey. Visit Russbourough House, its bird of prey sanctuary, or its adventure center perfect for kids. Take a bike around Blessington Greenaway or step out of the garden and see the mountain we have right in front of you.

Situated in a beautiful forest location with oak, spruce, and ash forests on all four sides, the venue is very remote but does have a local shop a few minutes' drive away. And of course, there are three pubs a short car ride away. It is Ireland after all!

I have overseen the design of all the handmade furniture, landscaped the gardens and helped curate the menus. Our kitchen garden is bursting with a delightful array of ingredients and our neighbours are our suppliers making this a true farm to fork experience. Let us take you on a three-day immersive foodie escape at our beautiful lodge nestled in the west Wicklow mountains.
