Other things to note
Please be aware that the track that leads up to Letter West Holiday Cottages from the main road is an unmade gravel road of approximately 300 meters. Care is needed when coming up the track as it is both steep in places and uneven, cars with a very low clearance may ground in places. Guests are welcome to use the access track but are advised that they do so at their own risk.
Whilst we love our furry family friends sadly we are unable to accept any pets. The property is directly adjacent to the Sheep's Head Way paths and sheep roam free close to the property which we have a responsibility to protect. Please be aware that dogs are not permitted on any of the Sheep's Head pathways even on a lead as most of them cross active farm land.
As is standard with most holiday lets in Ireland oil and electricity is an additional charge payable at the end of your stay when checking out. A meter reading will be taken at the start and end of your stay with the usage calculated. Please ensure you have euro's in cash for this at the end of your stay. Current rates are 0.31 euro per unit of electricity and 0.90 per litre of domestic heating oil.
Please note that past the village of Ahakista on the Sheep's Head Peninsular most businesses are cash only and don't accept cards.
