Helen's house was in the perfect location to explore Bristol. We got some great food in the shipping container village just down the road, which Helen told us about when we arrived. She was also full of other suggestions and was helpful with parking. Nice soft towels and hot shower, greeted with cake and tea! Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Bristol :)

The position is very strategic: 15 minutes walk to the city centre, plenty of parking space on street, very quiet at night, 5 minutes walk to bars and shops in Southville. The room is spacious and bright. The toilet is shared but everything was ok. We stayed during refurbishiment, so afterwards the house will probably be a lot tidier and cleaner that we found it. Overall a good value.

It was lovely to have you both to stay. Thank you for your feedback and helpful comments. Apologies for not messaging you about the house renovation. I updated details on my listing and photos and overlooked providing a personal message :( It was lovely to try out my welcome in Italian :)

Hi, I have lived in Bristol for many years.
I love meeting people from across the world, chatting and sharing cake.
I have worked as a midwife and with children's charity. I'm a poet and writing my first novel.
Enjoy cooking, walking and exploring with friends and family. Grow vegetables and keep chickens for their delicious eggs.
