We had a lovely stay at Helen's. Her house is very homely and well situated, but in a quiet area, and we loved meeting the chickens in the garden! Helen is also an excellent local guide so be sure to ask her for recommendations and directions, and a perfect host after offering us tea and coffee on arrival and breakfast in the morning. We loved staying here in Bristol!

We enjoyed staying in Helen's home. She's very friendly and welcoming. The room is lovely and as described. Southville is a great area and it's within easy walking distance of most parts of Bristol. We'll definitely be going back.

The pictures don't do the house justice the room is really big and all the house was exceptionally tidy. Helen was a lovely welcoming host offering us tea and cake and advice on Bristol and surrounding areas. In the morning we had a breakfast table laid out in the morning with bread, jams, and freshly laid eggs from her chickens! Thanks again for a great stay.

Crystal clear communications beforehand. Room and facilities were safe, clean, spacious, uncluttered, quiet and warm. Helen was friendly and v helpful with map and directions to where I wanted to visit. Bedroom featured radio, alarm clock, kettle, mugs and selection of teas & coffee. Good choice of pubs / cafes within walking distance for an evening drink / meal. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus: delicious fresh eggs from the hens in the backyard and home made cake! Cereals, toast, fruit were also offered. Highly recommended.
