Coulsden Cottage is beautifully refurbished, full of original features and cosy charm for all the family.
The house is in a great location to explore Bakewell, Chatsworth and the heart of the Peak District.

The space
Couldsden Cottage boasts a generous sized space that combines traditional limestone cottages with modern practicalities. Make use of the well equipped kitchen by cooking infront of the group in the large dining kitchen. The table can be set for any occasion for all 6 guests, with an abundance of cookware, crockery, and glassware. The living room warmly greets you with the crackle and glow from the fire, surrounded by soft and sumptuous sofa seating. There is also a downstairs WC and boot room for wet clothes storage after a muddy walk.

Sleeping up to 6 guests in the three bedrooms, you will enjoy the best of a night’s sleep under the finest of linens. With luxurious fabrics and a palette of earthy greens and sandstone neutrals, they bring peace and calm after a day of discovery.

The first-floor layout has:
Bedroom 1 – Super king size double bed, with ensuite bathroom featuring a bath.
Bedroom 2 – Double bed, with access to the family shower room.
Bedroom 3 - Twin room having two single beds, an internal window for light and access to the family shower room.

The Courtyard
A private patio area with a comfortable dining furniture.
Off-road parking for 1 vehicle in the private courtyard.
Additional cars are to be parked in the surrounding car parks.

Bakewell
Famous for its Ye Olde Original Bakewell Puddings and boasting a collection of small independent shops, tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants.

Walking
Straight from the doorstep there is an abundant network of scenic walks and cycle routes, so bring your bike or walking boots for great access to the countryside and the dramatic landscapes beyond.
Only a five-minute stroll away is the Monsal Trail, which will take you through the famous tunnels, over the Monsal Head Viaduct and past inviting cafes on the way to Buxton.

Surrounding Area
Located within a two-mile drive or a short walk along the River Wye, is the pretty village of Ashford-in-the-Water, with its traditional and popular local pubs, highly rated Rafters restaurant, and charming tearooms.

Country Estates
You are only five miles from Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the historic spa town of Buxton is just a twelve-minute drive for relaxation in the renovated spa.
