This place is a hostel, not a bed and breakfast. When we arrived, our room smelled so badly of perfume that we had to leave the door open for a few hours. The bathroom was tiny and had mold on the ceiling. The shower and sink were not clean; I didn't shower because of it. There was a lot of nighttime noise. The host had indicated that she would pack us lunches for Machu Picchu. However, we never saw her, and the men who were working in the morning had no idea what we were talking about. On the plus side, the breakfast is good and the location is convenient to the bus stop and the train station. However, I would not stay there again if traveling to Machu Picchu.

A fantastic budget option in Aguas Caliente. Clean spacious room, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and awesome hot water shower. The location is next to a soccer field which was hosting a concert the night we arrived so noise could be an issue. We didn't have to use ear plugs since the show did not last long. The space is more of a 'hotel' layout, with a half dozen private rooms on two floors. you still have privacy and the rooms are secure. Karito is a very accommodating and considerate host and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This place is exactly as described. It was clean and in a very central location. Walking distance to everything. Super close to the train and bus stations, restaurants, and markets. Karito was an amazing host. She was super nice, made sure we had everything we needed, and answered all of our questions. There was breakfast since 5am (bread, coffee, juice, yogurt, and fruits). The bed was comfortable. There is no air conditioning but we did not need it anyway since the temperatures were around 60sF. There is hot water in the showers. I would definitely recommend this place. However, if you cannot sleep with any noise, you may want to consider an alternative. There is a lot going on around this hostel that creates a LOT of noise: soccer field, restaurants, people walking and talking. Closing the windows will not help. That being said, if you want to be in a central location you may have to just deal with the noise... Other than that, I'd say this place was perfect for the price.

Karito's place is very clean and in a good location. Neighborhood could be noisy at times but over-all, a really good stay. Karito was very nice to give us sack lunches for our early trip to Machu Picchu.

We stayed in Karito´s hostel which is very close and easy to find from the railway station . The rooms are clean and the shower has hot water , also clean and huge towels and soap are available . In the common used area there is the ability to cook tea or coffee and even very early in the morning Karito prepared breakfast for us to take with us on the day trip to Machu Picchu. We could even stay there the afternoon after we already checked out after coming back from Macchu Piccho and waiting for the train, she offered us to use to shared bathroom and prepared us a coffee and tea. We could alos store our luggage in our rooms while we were out after checking out .As she lives on the same floor she is always reachable and helped us with all our wishes . I do highly recommend this hostel for low budget travellors who do not want to stay in any of the other overprized hotels in the 100% touristic village .

Really happy with this place. We were met at the train station and the accommodation is no more than 5 minutes from the there and the bus pick up point. The room we had was fine, clean and quite spacious. We could leave our bags in the room while we went to machu pichu. Overall great value for the price.
