Wolf House has been our family home for nearly 30 years. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the more prominent houses in a charming Welsh village just two miles from Cowbridge.
'The Granary' has always been popular with guests offering peace and tranquility in very comfortable surroundings. Martyn, Melanie and their friendly labrador Mango look forward to welcoming you.
The history of Wolf House goes back over 400 years with its origins in the farming community. The house offers plenty of character with exposed beams and flagstone floors.
The Granary has a large king size bed, ample clothing storage, a basin unit as well as its own secret staircase leading to the family kitchen below. Guests also have use of a private bathroom with an over the bath shower. We will provide all linen, towels and toiletries. There is an additional single bedroom if required.
The walled garden is an attractive space with a thatched, wooden summer house hidden away which guests are welcome to use during their stay.
There is plenty of parking off road in our courtyard and as well as a bedroom with its private staircase, guests are welcome to relax in and enjoy our kitchen and dining spaces. In fair weather, guests are welcomed to join us outside in the garden which is accessed through the kitchen.
Interaction with guests
We look forward to welcoming and meeting new guests and having lived in South Wales for so many years, we would be happy to help out with local information and advice if necessary.
Other things to note
The room is £80 per night for a couple. Single occupancy £40 per night.
There is full Wifi access throughout the house.
Breakfasts are designed entirely around the needs and wishes of our guests so let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
Hello! I live in Wolf House with husband Martyn and our dear old labrador Mango. I'm a passionate gardener, a keen cook, traditional embroidress and we love to meet new people. We are well-travelled (we lived in South Africa for a number of years and still holiday there). Do come and stay, we promise a very warm welcome!
