My cabin is close to Muskegon River, Lake Michigan, and Michigan's Adventure park as well as across the street from a clean, sandy beach lake. You’ll love my place because of the coziness of a true log cabin. It is a great place for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
The kitchen comes fully stocked and ready to go. The only thing you will need to bring is the food. You will find: a stove/oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and a fridge/freezer. Pots, pans, and utensils are provided as well.
The living room has a window air conditioner and is furnished with bar stools and high-top table, two lazy boy chairs, pull out couch with a queen sized mattress, and a TV with DVD/VCR player as well as a stereo that plays CDs and cassette tapes. Sorry, no cable or wifi.
The bunk bed room has a set of twin bunk beds, some closet space to store any clothing or materials you may bring in, as well as a built-in dresser.
The master bedroom has a full sized extra long bed, a closet, and a built-in dresser. Both the master and the bunk bed rooms are log cabin with wood paneling finish to give a woodsy outdoors feeling.
The bathroom is a full bath with a shower. Towels and washcloths are provided for up to six people.

The original cabin was built in the 1940's back when the roads were dirt and it was a 10 hour adventure to get here from Chicago. My uncle converted the seasonal cabin to a year round cottage in 1972. I looked forward to spending my summer vacations here. Many great memories were made. After I acquired the cabin, I restored the logs back to their original beauty and take great pride in keeping it clean and maintained for a memorable visit. This cabin has been passed down through 3 generations.
