The space
Wisteria Cottage is a self contained cottage located in a courtyard of an organic beef farm. The building is 150 years old and has been lovingly restored from a range of farm buildings, with wonderful thick walls with electrical heating.
The large Kitchen/Living room has beautiful vaulted ceilings and is comfortably furnished with two sofas and also features an electric Stove. A DVD player and a good selection of dvds and games are provided for entainment.

Ballyconnell is part of the Cavan's premier angling area, and has a superb reputation for course and pike angling. No premits are required for course or pike fishing in Cavan. The cottages is a great base to hike or bike the Geo Park area.
It a great area for golf with 3 championship golf courses within easy reach.
We are located between two towns Belturbet (10 mins drive), Ballyconnell (5 mins drive) both of which have an excellent selection of restruents and pubs, many of which have music at the weekends. The Slieve Russell Hotel is a 5 minute drive or we have a nice local pub. #Ireland's hidden heartland

We are Aiden and Catherine Corcoran. For the past 15 we have run an organic farm in Co. Cavan. We farm beef cattle, mainly limousines . Aiden is the third generation to run the farm. The cottage has been renovated in a relaxed country style . With a beautiful outdoor deck area. We’re just five minutes from the Sleive Russel hotel, so an ideal place to base yourself for a wedding or family event.
