Cluain Beag is situated on the rising slopes of Slieve Mish half way along The Dingle Peninsula. A perfect retreat for those who want to get away from it all. The views are stunning and the large garden, although some of it a little wild, has plenty of room for visiting dogs and children, who are welcome. The house is simply furnished and has an open fire in the sitting room and the well equipped spacious kitchen, with a range, is the hub of the house.

Karen's cottage was the best remote retreat I could have hoped for. It was wonderful to try the countryside lifestyle for a few days. I learnt how to operate a range and brushed up on my fire making skills. After long days of exploring the bay of Dingle, it was a joy to come back…

Very big and spacious house with a stunning view out the window. Bit hard to find in the dark, but once you're there, you are good to go.

A remote farmhouse that has all the homely touches you would need. The range is especially nice to come back to after a day of hiking. Karen was exceptionally helpful with suggestions of what to do and was quick to respond to any of our questions. My only suggestion is you stay l…
