Do not book this place, and he should be taken off of the Airbnb platform! When I booked I looked at his reviews, and a red flag was lack of communication. I still decided to try to book his place because it was cheap. So, 2 months before my anticipated check in date I sent him a message communicating my needs to confirm what his listing said. He never responded. 2 weeks before my anticipated check in date I used the instant book option, 3 days before check in I finally got a response saying he looks forward to my stay. Day of check in he wants to know what time I'll come. I tell him 9-9:30. I get there 9:20, ring his video doorbell, no response but his 2 dogs barking. I go back to my car, write him and tell him I'm at the door. He finally responds saying he tried to reach me. I give him my number, no response. I then write him again saying I'm waiting at 10:30, no response. At this point I'm tired because I drove 5 hours from Las Vegas. I call Airbnb at 10:40. They try to contact him via email, and calling. No response. It's now 11:20 and finally Airbnb booked a hotel for me, and I'm stuck trying to modify my plans now. His phone number listed goes to a printing service that he never answers, or returns calls from. He should be taken off the site as this is not his first rodeo with leaving someone in the cold. This is not what Airbnb is all about.
