Carmen and Guillermo thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. You paid attention to every detail & made our visit to Cotopaxi unforgettable. This was the perfect weekend getaway. Photos don't make justice of how beautiful this place is. The house is so confortable and the view breathtaking! We can't wait to come back!

Yet another beautiful stay at La Campina, thank you Carmen and Guillermo! There were eight of us this time - four adults and five kids. The kids loved running around the fields and riding the horses. Guillermo showed them how he trains his youngest horse, and they helped to brush them and feed them and saddle them. The kids also loved milking the cows. Our lovely hosts always make us feel right at home and most welcome. We enjoyed home cooked meals in our own kitchen, a lovely fire in the evenings and great views all day long out the big windows. We'll be back!

A fantastic experience! The house is beautiful, with great views and a lovely patio and very well equipped. We travelled with three kids (10, 10, and 12) and they didn't want to leave. My daughter even got up in the wee hours to learn how to milk cows! Carmen and Guillermo are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this place.

We have stayed here several times and absolutely love it - the perfect home away from home in the beautiful countryside. We had fires every night, snuggled on the comfy sofa looking out huge windows and made lovely home cooked meals. The location near Cotopaxi is perfect, and having the view of it just out the window helps especially when trying to know when to go before the clouds roll in! Carmen is the most generous and kind host, always so flexible and so welcoming. Thanks also to Jesus and his wife! We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at La Campina. Our 2 children, aged 10 and 8, had such a good time on the farm milking cows, horse riding, collecting eggs from the chickens and feeding the guinea pigs. The cats and dogs were so friendly. The house was well equipped with a fireplace which kept us warm on the chilly nights. We went hiking to see all the waterfalls and visited Cotapaxi National Park about 30 minutes to the north entrance. We had a high clearance vehicle but a 4WD would be beneficial - the roads are difficult to navigate. Carmen was a wonderful host showing us around the property and spending alot of time welcoming us. We would recommend this property for a great farm stay.

Carmen was an exceptional host. She did everything she could to ensure all of our wants and needs were met. She treated us in a manner that made us feel like part of the family and was wonderful with our three young children. Her farm helpers also treated us as family and helped show us the farm life as well as teaching us Spanish. The views and walks are truely among the most amazing we've ever encountered. I recommend taking food from the super market before arriving to La Campina as the closest supermarket is 20 minutes drive. She was very helpful at organising taxi rides to the nearest town for us and arranged a taxi to take us back to Quito. She put us in contact with her son Juan who is helping us to organise a trip to the Amazon as well as a trip to the Galápagos Islands. My family and I loved being involved in daily life on the farm: milking the cows, collecting eggs and vegetables, riding horses and fishing. I have no hesitation in recommending this home and hope to return again in the future. We can't thank Carmen enough for all the effort she has made to make our stay at La Campina unforgettable.
