About this listing

This cozy studio apartment is located on the second floor. My place is close to Alla Spina, The Belgian Cafe, Honey's Sit 'n Eat, Cafe La Maude, and Osteria. You’ll love my place because of the location, it is just three blocks from the museum district. The best part about the apartment is that on my morning jog I run to the art museum. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space

This cozy studio apartment is located on the second floor. It's small and clean and in a great location. There's a full kitchen and a queen sized bed with a new memory foam mattress. The condos very high ceilings and windows make it very inviting and spacious. The condo can easily sleep three people.

Guest access

You will have full access to the studio and all of its amenities.

Other things to note

Parking at the Apartment

There is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood. Monday-Friday there is 2 hour free parking on between 8:30am—6pm! On weekends parking is free. The city tickets very aggressively, so be careful.

There’s plenty of garage/ lot parking in the neighborhood. The closest lot is at 19th and callowhill, the closest garage is on 20th St. between Spring garden and Pennsylvania Ave.

There is a school parking lot just across the street. You can not park here Monday--Friday between 7:30am and 4:00pm—you will be ticketed or towed!! After 4pm, you may park overnight—but must be out by 7:30 am! On the weekends it is free.

The appartmemt was good, everything like it has been described. Unfortunately we had very often some wifi problems, everything else was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luke's place. We were in Philly for the first time and were able to visit all of the historical sites and enjoy great dining and nightlife easily. The location of the apartment is in a quiet residential area between Spring Garden and Fairmount. There is a pub on the bottom floor of the building that can get noisy at times but the apartment is two stories above it and it never bothered us. The majority of residents in the neighborhood seemed to be in their late 20's to mid 30's. We walked to visit Eastern State Penitentiary and continued on to the art museum (stopped for some great pizza at Luigi's on the way). We took an Uber to get to the historic attractions near Center City, the trip averaged about $8 - most of Center City is walkable once you're down there. The wall A/C unit did a fairly good job cooling the place, as it is a studio apartment and doesn't take much to cool, but I could see it getting a bit warm once the dog days of summer hit. The shower is definitely smaller than average but it was sufficient for the few days we were there. Overall this place met our expectations and Luke was available for quick communications. The listing is accurate w/ regards to accomodations, parking etc. Would recommend to any single travelers or couples looking to stay near the center of Philly on a budget.

Very clean and in a great location. Downtown was definitely within walking distance. The bathroom and shower were small, but for the price, you can't go wrong!

Nice, clean place. Great location. We parked our car at the garage on 17th & Callowhill and only had to pay $10 per night, as opposed to a few other garages in the area that were $20 per night.

This place was great on a budget- has all your basic amenities although the water pressure was nonexistent. Location allowed us to walk everywhere, city center is a 10-15 minute walk away, museums around the corner, if you're a walker or cyclist the location is perfect. The apartment itself was exactly as pictured, the neighbourhood is cute and there's a bar on the ground level right nextdoor- a blessing and a curse. It's handy for a bite to eat but in the summer there is patio seating directly below the apartment window and it's extremely loud. The building hosts other airbnbs so there's a gamble with the neighbours as well. One night was fine, two nights the tenant downstairs was blasting rap beats until 3 am and then started up again at 8am. Previous posts mentioned no AC but there's a brand new awesome AC unit, and a space heater. Check-in and check-out were super smooth, Luke was great with detailed instructions. Bed is super comfy.

Luke's place is just great - quiet, clean and comfortable. It's located above a friendly bar/restaurant (the chocolate cake is great) and we were a little concerned that this might mean the nights would be noisy but there was zero noise - you wouldn't know a bar was downstairs at all! We used Luke's place as a base to just rest in between exploring Philadelphia and it was perfect for that. There is a bus stop which is a five minute walk away, and the bus only takes around 10-15 mins to get into the centre although we actually walked into the centre and back a few times; it's a nice walk when the sun is out! Luke had sent us access details well in advance which meant check-in was a breeze. We would 100% recommend Luke's place - it's a perfect location, with several bars/cafes within walking distance, it's clean, modern and the neighbourhood is friendly and felt really safe. Thanks Luke

I'm a a down to earth guy. Generally quiet and a little on the shy side. I like to give my guests lots of space but I'm available to answer questions or provide local tips.

I love to travel and see new places.

I list my apartment in NYC and my apartment in Philly on Airbnb. They're both great places to call home for a while. I'm also listing a studio apartment in Philly for my cousin, who's studying abroad this semester.

As a host, my aim is to provide comfortable and affordable accommodations in a great location. It's so nice when a family or group of friends can affordably enjoy a great place like NYC or Philly together and Airbnb really makes that possible, so I love it.

Have a great stay !!
