Little cottage close to Glastonbury Tor, with great views, in the midst of beautiful countryside, next to our home. It's a self contained, cosy little place, in simple contemporary style. The bedroom has french windows and a wooden balcony with uninterrupted views of Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding countryside. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Good for couples and solo adventurers.
The front door of the cottage (tall folk watch your heads!) opens straight into a large open plan split level room, with sitting room and kitchen/dining area, plus a spacious toilet and shower room. Stairs lead to a large, light and airy double bedroom upstairs. with french windows to a large balcony area with wooden balustrade, looking out to a panoramic country view over fields, with Glastonbury Tor in the distance. The host's house is close to the cottage but separate.
Rental is for the entire cottage. Guests can feel free to roam around the garden, which is currently in mid renovation. The house name is Northfields.
Interaction with guests
Always happy to help. If we're not at home, we're contactable on mobile
Other things to note
The stairs are fairly steep, although there is a solid hand rail, but they would present a challenge for anyone who has mobility issues or for young children.
The wood burner would present a potential hazard for youngsters also.
