A 200 year old "Kellerstöckl" (wine-press) adapted into an award winning house. Loft space and original wine cellar.

Located within a small cluster of homes in the hamlet of Globeregg, the house is within close proximity to wineries in the area.

The space

The house received wide architectural acclaim. From
local to international press, the architecture was praised
for the uncompromising approach to a new idea based
on traditional building values.

Designed by Yes Architecture, the house took ideas
from the original “Kellerstöckl” (wine press) windowless
building and the for this area unique corn-cob drier
structure, one standing next to the house. The interior
is a modern interpretation of a traditional “Bauernstube”,
an old farmhouse parlour.

Nice place. Quiet and stylish. When we arrived we have product for breakfast and all necessary for cooking. At 8am working days we can bought fresh bread and bakery products and milk. It was delicious. The view is amazing, I was staying hours before glass wall and seeing the beautiful horizon.

It was such a pleasant stay at Klaus' landloft. The landloft is uniquely designed just like the photos. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely view in front -- I enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful surroundings during the daytime and all the stars at night. Klaus is also a very friendly and responsive host, providing us with the detailed guidebook right after the reservation was confirmed. Definitely a place to go back!

Klaus loft is as magical as it seems! clean architecture at it's best! Enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the daytime and the stars at night. The attention to details is remarkable. You will find everything you need for a relaxing and romantic stay. Klaus is very friendly, responsive and may we say a pro! just after we booked Klaus provided us a detailed document that had everything we needed to know about the area and the loft - the best tip is to bring all that you need with you so nothing will make you leave this place. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge was filled with goods for a nice breakfast. Don't forget to turn off the lights at night for a planetarium view of the stars:) It's easier to find the place using the coordinates Klaus provides in the directions instructions. Definitely a place to go back to, and definitely a place to recommend to your closest friends. Thank you Klaus!

What a wonderful place this is! We had a great time, relaxed and visited nearby wineries (there's a lot of them). The house is as described and really worth a visit.

Klaus User ProfileKlaus is a superhost.

Living east and west of the Atlantic is giving an interesting perspective of the world. Experiencing different cultures without losing my own identity is key. Ultimately an energy source that is vital to me.
