Our home is within easy access of Bristol city centre (20min walk) and Temple Meads train station (10min walk). Close to excellent bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and beautiful parks, it makes a good place for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families to stay.
The comfortable private room has a sofa bed with topper suitable for 1 or 2 guests and ensuite shower room. Bedding, towels, basic toiletries and a simple breakfast of cereal, toast and hot drinks are provided.
Private bedroom with ensuite shower room in a three storey Victorian terrace house. The bedroom is equipped with a sofa bed (now with the comfortable addition of a memory foam mattress topper, as of May 2017) which converts into a small double which can accommodate one or two people. The ensuite has a walk in shower cubicle, toilet and sink. There is a lock on the inside of the bedroom door so guests can lock themselves in as they please. There is not currently a lock on the outside of the room. We will never access the bedroom without prior consent from the guests (unless in an emergency).
The bedroom is on the lower ground floor, adjacent to the kitchen which leads onto the garden. Access to the house is on the floor above, at street level. Due to its position in the house there are no windows in the bedroom, however, this makes for a private, cosy and relaxing space to spend the night.
The house is located on Firfield Street which is a quiet street off a main road which leads into the city in one direction or out towards Somerset in the other. It is conveniently located for access to Temple Meads train station, the city centre and the airport. It's conveniently located close to many shops, bars and restaurants on Wells Road, and has a Tesco Express, Co-op, and greengrocers (selling many whole food and organic options) all within 5 minutes walk.
THINGS TO NOTE
CAT: We have a small cat called Siouxsie. She is usually very shy so tends to keep out of the way (but those of you with allergies please be aware).
KIDS: We also have two young children (who are less shy!). Rufus is 1 and Ted is 3 years old. They are both very friendly and love to meet new people. Don't worry though, they sleep on the top floor of the house (2 floors away from guests) and are not in the habit of having midnight parties just yet!
Our home tends to wake up around 7am and we eat breakfast in the kitchen next door to the bedroom so please be aware there may be some general family noise in the morning.
I hope that's covered most things but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
