We went for our daughter's 8th birthday. She had a fantastic time and she loves riding the horse and spending time with the dog. We will definitely go back again. Ruth and her husband were very kind, helpful and welcoming.

Well no words can describe how beautiful this place is the views are breathtaking the yurt is perfect warm cosy and very romantic the stars are amazing so glad we had a clear night. The horse trekking is a must such fantastic scenery and the horses are so steady I am an experienced rider however my partner has never rode before and he enjoyed it! We can not wait to visit again if you are thinking of visiting then do!!! You will not regret it Thank you for having us!

Staying at Ruth's place is a very interesting experience. We really enjoyed our stay with our children there and our older son could do horse riding in a morning. Lovely place to go.

Ruth and Dilwyn are kind and welcoming and the yurt is well appointed and cosy. (Don't be put off by the basic toilet and showering facilities.) Do try the trekking: we are novices and had a great time. The countryside is lovely. A wonderful place to get away from it all. I would love to go again.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's yurt. Sadly we only booked to stay for one night, we would have liked to stay a little longer! Ruth is a welcoming and helpful host, we would definitely stay again to see more of the area (and the dogs)

Wonderful secluded location (don't give up you'll get there eventually). Yurt was super cozy and warm and nice to live without a few modern conveniences for a while. Hosts couldn't be more welcoming or friendly and if you have the opportunity to try out the trekking you definitely should!

Wow. Such an incredible location, and a real treat to stay in a yurt with a wood burner. The separate kitchen is a real plus and means you can stay totally rural. We did some unplanned trekking the morning before we left and could see Snowdon to one side & the Brecon Beacons to other. I look forward to going back!

I am married to Dillwyn who is a retired welsh mountain sheep farmer now returned to his first love, horses. Together, with our family we run horse trekking and yurt holidays from our farm.
