Natalie's place is very clean and the room and bed were comfortable for the two of us. She was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is about 40 minutes from Amsterdam's main attractions, but is very easy to get to by public transit. All in all, it was a fine place to stay.
I do want to mention some things to know when considering her place. She has a lot of rules, which is understandable as it is her home, but many were not explained on her profile and were very particular. From when you could shower, how often you could shower, where you hang your towel, not having things plugged in while away or overnight, etc. One of the most inconvenient rules being that you were not allowed to cook before 10am, which basically eliminates the possibility of breakfast before heading out. She also is just a very picky host and wants things to be just the way she wants, again understandable as it's her home, but it is something to consider. For instance, she thought my boyfriend's shoes smelled, but instead of asking him to do something about it, she stuck them outside. We also left the apartment to go out at one point, but had forgotten something, so we returned less than 5 minutes later and she had already been in our room and moved our luggage and things around. I don't think this was meant to be intrusive, but it certainly felt that way and gave me little confidence in our privacy. She also burst into the room in the morning to open our curtains, insisting that "Dutchies" love the sun, but not asking if we wanted or were OK with them being open. It was just small intrusions like these that took away from the experience. Again, not a bad place to stay, but be prepared for this if you stay with her.
