House had everything we needed and was warm and comfortable, lovely view of the bay and was great location for exploring scenic Cork and Kerry. We had a great stay.

A beautiful old cottage with gorgeous views of the West Cork countryside. Close to Glengarrif and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended and I would gladly stay there again.

Donal provides a thoughtful and kind welcome to Cheryl's retreat. Mists, ruins, views, wild sheep, and easy access to special West Cork ... a unique place with a rustic touch. Unfortunately your phone might get reception, so turn it off and enjoy.

Wonderful unique place, very remote, very cosy and comfortable. Amazing views although you need the mist to lift. Unfortunately it was too wet for walks.

Thank you for the input. Not sure where the bowls went...I'll have to have those replaced! Sorry about that-I hope you enjoy your travels! Best, Cheryl Kenny

It is an old house, which is not inhabited all year round. Located above the village, perched on a hill, it has the minimum and necessary comfort for a pleasant stay. The welcome - assured by Donal - is particularly kind, he is a gentleman of great consideration. The region especially offers sublime landscapes, that will remain long in our memories, especially the view from the house is breathtaking. Thanks.

Incredible location! Our host was Donal, he was a hero! Warm, accommodating and welcoming - he even sourced us a boat to go fishing. Only positives, really enjoyed ourselves - incredibly beautiful part of the world! Thank you!
