Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
My home is a beautifully updated home. Quiet and Serene, yet just a short drive to ski resorts and Minutes from the village and lake. The living area feels spacious with many special touches, and Quality linens. The hot tub is perfectly situated for privacy. Amazing views, sunrise, and sunsets. Large deck with BBQ and view of the lake. Outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace. Please note the guest who books must be 21 years old or greater.

The space
Upon entering the home you walk into the bottom level which has two bedrooms and one bath. Upstairs is the beautiful updated living area , the kitchen, additional bathroom and washer and dryer. Upstairs has a wrap around deck for your pleasure and a propane BBQ grill for your use. My home has 1 king bed and 1 queen bed down stairs, and a sofa bed upstairs. While Max Capacity is 6 the house is most comfortable with 4 adults and two children. Upstairs is a wonderful open living area with wrap around deck and amazing views. Because you sit high and face east/west , the sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking All linens are plush, soft and comfortable . No Scratchy towels here. The kitchen will have a drop leaf table for dining that can seat up to seat 6, but more comfortable with 4 around the table. My home does not have central AC which is typical for most homes in Big Bear. The sliding glass door from the kitchen leads to a wrap around deck with views of the lake and a BBQ. There is parking for two cars. There will be times in the winter that parking is a bit difficult when the parking area and streets may have not yet been plowed. Four wheel or all wheel drive vehicles are best during the winter months. Remember to check road conditions and chain requirements before heading up the mountain.
Refunds will not be given to due inclement weather. Now that we are approaching winter here is a great link to the ski resorts for more info https://www.bigbearmountainresort.com/winter/mountains/mountains/snow-summit

There will be times in the winter that parking can be a bit difficult . There are times you will have to shovel snow on the sidewalk and put down ice melt. Large RV's will not fit. I would recommend that you check road conditions before starting your travel up the hill. Sorry no refunds due to weather.
