Trina was very quick at replying to all of our queries. Mint Leaf Cottage is cosy and ideally located. Nice little high street with some great places to eat. We didn't get to explore the fabulous sounding places that Trina and Phil recommended as we were visiting the area for a wedding. Would thoroughly recommend you visit Mint Leaf Cottage for a relaxing break.

We had a lovely stay! It is a small town and we didn’t know what to expect, booking at the last minute, but found the car park after a trip around the block! We arrived around 4pm and hadn’t eaten so walked into town to see if anything was open and were so happy to find The Chapel. They had an afternoon pizza menu that was delicious. The Budgens across the road is well stocked for groceries too. The next morning we drove to King Alfred’s tower which was great to see, and came back to Hauser & Wirth for a late breakfast (as they don’t start serving until after 10am). It was absolutely delicious and the best coffee we’d had in weeks. The house is as pictured, and lovely but my only two issues were the stair bannister, and upstairs railing - not safe for small children, and the amazing bathtub - but hard to have a shower in without getting water everywhere: you have to sit down to shower (or take a bubble bath )

Mint Leaf Cottage isa wonderful, cozy terrace home in Bruton. It is located at one end of the High Street. Shopping is very convenient. There are several very nice dining spots nearby. While the cottage is not large the space is very adequate. We were a party of three and found it very workable. Highly recommended.

We've had a fantastic stay here at Mint Leaf Cottage. Everything was absolutely perfectly presently down to the very last detail. Clean, beautifully presented, and well-thought out- we couldn't have asked for a cuter, more idyllic little cottage for our little weekend break. Trina had even left little treats for us when we got there! Which, when arriving at 01:30 at night with a 4yo in tow, it was a nice little welcoming touch that we really appreciated. The location was really good for what we needed - literally 4mins walk to the wedding venue (Longhouse). There were roadworks going on while we were there so it was a tad noisy in the morning, but once it hit weekend, it wasn't an issue at all. Trina has been an exceptional Airbnb host. She's been friendly and super fast with all her responses. All the instructions she's given us were easy to follow, informative and accurate. I'd recommend staying at Trina's Mint Leaf Cottage any day!!

Hello!

I’m Trina and together with my surfing-mad husband Phil we look forward to inviting you to stay at Mint Leaf Cottage, Bruton in Somerset!

We got married in Bruton at St Mary's and Gants Mill 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with the place – we hope you will too!

We’ve recently returned to the UK after a few years spent living in Australia and have been busy turning this beautiful stone cottage into a warm and cosy retreat - in fact, it's the kind of place we'd love to retreat to ourselves!

We love travelling, exploring and eating and - with these hobbies in mind - we can't wait to share with you all the wonderful walks, shops and restaurants we've uncovered in this quintessentially English-countryside village.

We’ve got a fantastic cleaning team on board and we promise you that the cottage will be immaculate for your visit with freshly laundered linen and towels plus toiletries and breakfast supplies (tea / coffee / sugar / milk / muesli).

If you’re looking for a romantic break or an escape from the rat-race look no further. Get ready to snuggle down with a good book in the window-seat or sink into a hot bubbly bath with a well-deserved glass of wine...

If you have any Qs please do not hesitate to contact us - we look forward to welcoming you soon!

See you soon,
Trina & Phil xxx
