The Cottage is really charming, well kept with spacious rooms and in a quiet neighborhood. Cathy was a gracious host. Check-in and check-out was seamless. She met us right away when we arrived and stopped by to say goodbye before we left. She gave us good advice and suggestions for places to visit during our stay. My friends and I had a wonderful stay - we didn't want to leave. I recommend staying at this Cottage, you will not be disappointed!

This place is amazing, beautiful, well decorated, and very, very clean. You will feel like home. Everything we need it it was there for us to use. The master bathroom is big , the beds are so comfortable and clean crispy sheets. Cathy welcome us with scones, bread and cookies. The bathrooms has all you need from shampoo, conditioner, lotions, hair dryer...Cathy was very quick responding to all our questions and she even help us with some local advise. Checking and out was excellent and quick. We regret not staying longer :(

Cathy's charming cottage in Claregalway is just beautiful and we had the most wonderful stay! After 29 hours of travel from Australia we arrived at the cottage and were greeted by Cathy and immediately felt so welcome! Cathy is a wonderful host and provided everything we needed for our stay! It was so lovely to have bread, scones, butter, jam, biscuits, milk & fruit provided as when you are recovering from jet lag you really don't feel like shopping! Cathy's cottage is like a home away from home! The cottage is located on a working cattle farm so you have that wonderful experience of feeling like you are in the country but you are still so close to Galway! We can highly recommend Cathy's cottage to anyone who is traveling to Galway and without doubt it would be one of our best Airbnb experiences! Thanks Cathy for making our stay so wonderful! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Cathy's cottage. It was so comfortable and quiet, and very convenient to Galway, perhaps a fifteen minute drive. And I had a marvelous sunset view from my window. Any time we had a question she answered us immediately. I would stay there again and recommend it without reservation.

We spent a wonderful 5 days at Cathy & Martin's beautiful cottage on their very tidy working farm. It has been refurbished from a traditional thatched cottage to the highest possible standards with all comforts, including a welcome on arrival by Cathy and lit peat stove and a useful supply of tea, milk, butter, jam and scones. Martin even offered to reset the fire for us on another evening. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Burren and Connemara (best with own transport). Wifi is fairly slow but reliable. The cottage has been beautifully refurbished to the highest standards, loads of hot water, quality bedding, copious luxury towels, comfy beds, et all. The downstairs bedroom has a bathroom across the main (open plan sitting/kitchen room), which was fine for us. Upstairs bedroom & dressing room with sloping roof ceiling is en suite. We had a wonderful stay.

Dear Cathy, Thank you so much for hosting us for 2 nights. Your cottage is adorable and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will be back again one day - for sure!
