Our small village is both picturesque and historic. The local information centre has some wonderful displays of early life in Pirongia and there are two existing redoubts (fortifications) to explore.
The numbering system for the houses is a little different, in that they run erratically, not in the normal odds and evens - it can be a bit confusing unless you know! My street numbering goes from fifty to seventy two (me) to ninety next door!

I enjoy interaction with people from all walks of life. I have travelled and lived in various parts of the world, and I am blessed to live in this delightful village with my family nearby.
During your stay
I have a guest folder with a variety of booklets, brochures etc on the different activities and places of interest in the area, and am happy to help find out additional information if required.
I have also put a world map on the wall of the room - it would be great to have you leave a pin to indicate where you are from!
