Booton, with its wonderful church, is a tiny village a couple of miles from the historic market town of Reepham. This rural location is an idyllic refuge. It is a great base for exploring some of the fine historic houses in the area, such as Blickling and Mannington. Norwich is also less than half an hour away, and the beautiful Norfolk coast curves around us. There are lovely countryside walks in every direction, and fabulous cycling opportunities.
The living/dining room, with the original fireplace and floor, provides a place to snuggle in and review the day's adventures. It has an open fire, with additional heating provided by the biomass boiler. There is a TV hidden in a cupboard. A dining table by the window provides space for up to six people to sit around.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to rustle up a delicious meal, including a new oven with induction hob. There is also a dishwasher and washer-dryer. The original glazed butler’s cupboard contains a wide range of crockery, etc.
Please note that the staircase is steep (it does have bannisters on both sides, and a door at the bottom) and you have to duck your head on your way to the master bedroom!
The bathroom has a bath and shower cubicle, it also has a heated towel rail. Like all of the upstairs room, there is lovely view onto the walled kitchen garden below.

- A well-behaved dog is welcome – but please keep them off the furniture, and they must stay downstairs. We do have hens, and trust that any visiting dog will either be chicken friendly or kept under close control near the hens.
Emily and Gus Lamb fell in love with this this near-derelict farmhouse in 2014, and set about restoring it to something like its former self. It is now a family home for their children Daisy and Arthur, and their very friendly cocker spaniel Patty.
