The WiFi can be a bit poor in this area, we have boosters but just to warn you it isn’t like London for download speeds! There is good 4G coverage however.

Location

Arbirlot, Scotland, United Kingdom

A wonderful rural location but with access to the A92 within 2 miles.
We are in the village of Arbirlot, a lovely community with a church and pretty walks along the Eliot river.

Arbroath is 2 miles away, a small fishing town with a beautiful beach, lovely harbour, cliff walks and boat trips to Bell rock lighthouse. There’s even a boat that comes into harbour where you can buy freshly caught lobster.

There are also great fish and chips at the harbour!
Cliff top walks, parks, a cinema and children’s softplay on the seafront.
There are good restaurants in town and 3 supermarkets.

The Scryne fruit farm shop is 5 miles away, a real gem; with fresh fruit straight from the farm, ice creams and coffees and a children’s play area. There are lovely walks and beaches all along the coast from Arbroath to Broughty Ferry, with excellent cycle paths linking the towns.

Carnoustie is 8 miles away, a famous golf town with great golfing and lots of amenities and a lovely beach.

St Andrews is only 40 minutes drive where you can happily spend a day golfing, walking, sightseeing, shopping, eating...

While Edinburgh and Glasgow are a little further (one a a half hours drive) they are well worth a visit. The east coast mainline train service stops in Arbroath and Carnoustie so you could always take the train!

Lots more information on site with all the great tourist spots, eateries etc locally.

Country girl at heart, but I love a city break and love to explore. I’m a mum of 3 so it’s great to get away when I can!
