We welcome you thru the double doors. Sadly the old bell no longer works, but I'll be watching for your arrival.

An amazing place, but most of all great hosts. 10 min drive to the highway and shops, but quiet and peaceful place.

Deborah was welcoming despite my late arrival, the upstairs room with ensuite was spacious clean and comfortable. I attended a Windsor Chair making class at Rollingsford and was out most of the time. She gave some useful guidance on where to explore locally and at the end of my stay was accepting of my need to repackage the chair I had made which would inevitably make a mess! I would very happy to book another stay.

The room is excellent! Beautifully decorated to blend in with the rest of this turn-of-the-century house. We needed a place to stay before catching an early morning bus to Boston. It's a very quiet country setting, a ways from any local restaurants and food. But only a matter of minutes to either Portsmouth or Kittery so you can still have a night out before retiring to this cozy inn-like home. Very nice!

Deborah's large country home is perfect for Airbnb guests wanting a quiet retreat close to the delights of the southern coastal Maine region. There is so much to explore and enjoy in the area. Loved the museums in colonial era York and the evening-life of historic downtown Portsmouth NH. Deborah's is a perfect stopover for those driving up the Maine coast. Her large guest space is both comfortable (terrific bed and linens) as well as historic with usable family antiques. The private bath is well-stocked (the handcrafted soaps are excellent). Wi-fi is strong. Her husband filled the guest coffee pot and joined in as Deborah and I swapped travel stories. Very friendly and accommodating.

Deborah's house is beautiful, really great spot. The room is huge and quiet, very private, with a private bath. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Steven and I have been married for 35 years. My parents bought this home in 1954. I grew up here with my brother and 5 sisters. I purchased the home in 1980 and raised my 3 girls here. We expanded the family home in 2000 so my parents could come back here for their final years and there would be room for all my far-flung siblings and their children to come back and visit. We ran the Family Hotel for 11 years until Mother passed in 2011.

The home is far too large for just the 2 of us and we are ready to welcome others to enjoy the peace and tranquility here
