Julia and I were in some kind of health limbo during my stay - she was sick, I was waiting for surgery in the Birkenwerder Asklepios hospital. Despite of the tough circumstances, Julia was extremely friendly when communicating via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), reliable in how often she got back to me and still concerned about our well-being. I was even allowed to bring my support friend to the room which was originally offered for only one person - thanks again for that, Julia!
The beautiful garden gave me some peace and consolation before going to the hospital, and the environment was good for a last jog before my foot got slaughtered :) It is a quiet side street - be aware that public transport TO Birkenwerder works great, but IN Birkenwerder itself I had to use a Taxi to get to the clinic. In walking distance to Julias home is a supermarket and a picturesque small lake with a restaurant that is not the cheapest, but worth a visit due to the wonderful view and nature.
All in all I can absolutely recommend this accomodation, although the reason why I got there was rather unpleasant. But I can imagine that this is good for people who want to explore Berlin and have some quiet at the same time.
