6 acres/home on NE Ft Wayne/New Haven boundary in idyllic country setting. Guests have entire upper level for themselves with private bedroom and private bathroom. NO SMOKING in, around, anywhere on the property. Just minutes from I 69/469, university, shopping and 20 minutes to downtown. Room features queen bed with lots of closet and bureau space.

The space
Charming home with old-fashioned ambience. Abundant trees and vegetation all around. In the late 1990s this was a working agricultural farm. Train tracks are behind my house, interstate about a half a mile away. My neighbors consist of Amish farms behind me and agricultural farming along the property borders. To promote a clean atmosphere I do not allow smoking in around or anywhere on the property.

Guest access
Although no cooking is allowed the guests are welcome to use the refrigerator upstairs. Microwave is in the room and hot water kettle. Tea and bottled water also. Feel free to explore the paths mowed in the forest. Enjoy large sun room which overlooks forested backyard. Washing and drying for additional five dollars cost.

Other things to note
Regarding pets, we had pets in the house years ago. Mostly dogs. Currently there are no permanent animals in the house. Occasionally I will babysit my girlfriend’s friendly dog who stays downstairs. If this is an issue for you please let me know.
I have one additional bedroom for families or friends for an extra $20 a night

Location

New Haven, Indiana, United States

Amish horse farms are located behind my property, a 30 acre agricultural farm is on the right. Homes dot the road across the street which is actually Fort Wayne. On the back edge of the property you may hear an occasional train whizzing by while honking its whistle.

During your stay
I am busy various times of the day teaching and playing classical music in and out of the house but I am happy to answer any questions or socialize if you wish.
