Leeland , at 5011 Kearneysville Pike, adjoins Shepherdstown, the oldest town in West Virginia, full of theater, art and culture, restaurants, parks and civil war sites. You’ll love Leeland because of the outdoor space, historic charm, recent remodelling with HVAC, full kitchen and bath. You are in the country, yet only a stone's throw to downtown Shepherdstown. It's good for couples (maybe a young child or two) and solo adventurers.

The apartment is situated in the coziest little town among more history than you can shake a stick at. Meg runs a clean and quiet AirBnB spot and is generous with what is available to guests. Totally worth your time and money.

Meg’s place was perfect in every way for our family. We really enjoyed drinking our coffee on the sitting porch early in the morning, very relaxing. Place was clean and Meg brought us fresh cut flowers from her stunning garden. Very sweet place with a unique history!

This was such a cozy and warm place. It has a pastoral feel, but is also only a short walk from food and entertainment.

I'm a passionate gardener, and devoted to historic preservation,. My husband and I lived for many years in a beautiful Queen Ann just outside DC. We had a second home -- an old stone farmhouse on the National Register -- in West Virginia, and moved there full time in 2008, a…
