Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
You’ll love this place because of the location, the ambiance and the outdoor space. There are large lakeside decks, two kayaks, a row boat and a cozy little cabana on the lake where you can enjoy relaxing, yoga, playing cards, listening to the Loons and star gazing. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and small families. The Up Top Cabin can also be rented together with the main Lodge cabin for retreats, small weddings or extended family . See Cariboo log home on Watch Lake

The space
The UP TOP cozy log cabin is your private cottage while you are guests.
I will be able to advise you of any upcoming community events and
rodeos or gymkanas . There is a country craft and produce market
on Friday in 100 Mile only 25 minutes away by car and another one
on Saturdays at Loon Lake, 35 minutes away. There are lots of local
cafes, antique shops and second hand stores in the surrounding
area. There are local Trail Rides available and fishing on Watch Lake which is stocked with Rainbow trout.

Guest access
While staying at the Tidey Lodge in the UP TOP cabin, you can enjoy
the waterfront area which includes decks and docks and a Boat House
cabana for relaxing and enjoying all the waterfront activities, playing cards, listening to and watching the wildlife, getting some shade or just relaxing and reading a book. There are two kayaks and a rowboat equipped with lifejackets. Activities around the boathouse and decks and docks as well
as kayaks and swimming are at own risk. Please make sure you watch small children and animals.

Other things to note
I advise visitors to buy bottled water for drinking only ... I have a fresh
well with great water but do not test it for drinking. There are water
stations in 100 mile as well as at the local Save on Foods that supply
water for drinking and filling up. There will always be a fresh container
in the fridge on your arrival.

I am a creative and outgoing flight attendant with many years of experience owning and operating vacation rentals in North Vancouver and the Cariboo. I have travelled all around the world and love exploring new places, trying new foods, and meeting new people. I have a flare for customer service, fine touches and creating unique experiences for every guest. I have settled in a wonderful area in the Cariboo with beautiful skies, lots of wildlife, quiet days and cool evenings (I am at 4000 ft where the air is clean and crisp!). At my Cozy Cariboo Log Cabin Retreat I am able to create custom packages for each guests needs. I can host small weddings/elopements, teach pottery in my lakeside studio and book horseback trail rides at the local lodge. I look forward to meeting you!
