About this listing

My place is close to parks, the beach, and restaurants and dining. You'll love my place because of the cosiness, the views and its quietness with the national park & the golf course on its boundary. My place is good for couples and families (Please note our property is not fenced.) The shack is newly renovated, with a new kitchen, bathroom and polished floor boards. LINEN AND TOWELS NOT PROVIDED.

Other things to note

Please note that the main source of heating is a fireplace. An understanding of how to light a fire will be valuable. We aim to have firewood but during peak times in colder weather we may run out between guest stays. Firewood can be bought at the supermarket and petrol station. We have smaller portable heaters and hot water bottles. The Otway region is known to be cold in winter and the weather very changeable. Warm clothing is essential and a waterproof jacket. Our hot water system will suffice for 5 guests. Showers should be limited to short duration. An overuse of hot water may result in hot water running out. It heats up overnight.

Beautiful home with all the basic amenities provided. Julie remained in contact with me and was very helpful when I needed anything. Close enough to walk to the shops but still quite secluded from the business of Lorne.

We loved 'The Shack', it was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and truely relax. The comfort of a wood fire and the beautiful surrounds really made this property for us, with our young family! Thanks Mark and Julie, we will be back.

Beautiful home, fantastic setting! Had a brilliant weekend, great location for exploring the great ocean road. Our boys loved wallaby spotting on the golf course next to the property! Would highly recommend .
