Our place is close to the town centre, parks, art and culture, train station, and has great views. You’ll love our place because of Hebden Bridge is an alternative artsy community, and a charming historic town. Its set amongst the hills, river and canal of the Calder valley: perfect for country walks, bike riding, and horse-riding too.
Our cottage is a late 19th century workers cottage with mullion windows and an open fireplace. Its been charmingly renovated and is really pretty and comfortable.
Guests have access to and use of the whole cottage. There is one main bedroom and one attic bedroom; the main bedroom has a queen sized bed and the attic has a double bed.
There is one good sized bathroom on the first floor, next to the main bedroom. It has a shower/bath. There is also a WC in the courtyard, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine.
The kitchen is well-equipped and large.
There is free wifi and the signal strength is good.
There is room to park a car in the laneway by the courtyard.

We live in Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire, and move between , the UK, China, and Australia. My Chinese is terrible, but I'm working on it (wo shuo Zhongwen bu hao!). I do research & teaching relating to "race", ethnicity, crime, migration. Like serious movies and cheerful people, the blues and jazz. Am a very slow but enthusiastic runner. Have a nice family, and some good friends. Pretty lucky all in all(:
