Rivermouth on Kingston Beach is a beachfront apartment with nature, privacy and quality in mind.
The apartment is absolute waterfront looking directly onto the fabulous Kingston Beach, only 10 minutes south of Hobart.
There are numerous restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity of the apartment including the newly renovated Salty Dog Hotel. There are walking trails located at both ends of the beach to the Allum Cliffs Walk and Boronia Beach.

The space

Architect designed with views to the Iron Pot and the rivermouth of the Derwent from the beachfront balcony, lounge and main bedroom, as well as spectacular views to Mt Wellington. Private, secure and peaceful space.

High speed NBN internet access is available for free.

The kitchen has 2 stone bench tops with the main bench having 4 stools for dining - a high chair can be provided on request.

The bathroom and bedrooms have been designed as small spaces in order to allow maximum living room space with floor to ceiling views out onto the beach and river. This design feature we believe adds ambience and extra comfort to the main living room, while the bathroom and bedroom spaces are sufficient for their purpose.

Guests need to be aware that the bathroom has a shower only without any bath. The laundry is compact and stands alone in the pantry with a tub sink, washing machine and storage cupboards - along with a magnificent view of Mt Wellington.

Guest access

Guests will be provided keypad entry access to the building from the car park and the apartment, giving total security for all guests and visitors. There is a spare key to the ground floor entrance to Beach Road for added convenience for guests.

The apartment is on the second storey with 2 sets of undercover stairs - there is no concierge, room service or lift unfortunately at this stage.

Interaction with guests

I am available by phone or email to assist guests with any queries during their stay. I chose to provide a hassle free environment for guests so they can enjoy their stay in private without any intrusion.

A lovely unit with a great view, central to cafes and public transport right at your doorstep and lovely walking tracks etc. The only couple of let downs, there was a lot of renovations taking place in other units which meant it was very noisy during the day, and I gather also because of this there was extra cars in the car park area and we were parked in on three occasions, this will obviously not be such an issue when the renovations are over just a bit of bad timing for us. We would highly recommend the unit otherwise.

This apartment is in an amazing location being right opposite the wonderful Kingston beach. Comfortable and well equipped with everything you may need, including Netflix. The beds were super comfy. Fantastic location just 10 mins from Hobart centre, with excellent views from the balcony and rooms, and great beach, food/bars close to home. Plus parking! We loved it.

We live on Mount Wellington and have a dog, chickens and a vegetable garden. I am a gardener and my wife is an artist. We are in the process of developing a mountain cabin on our block which has pristine qualities next to the Mt Wellington Reserve.
