Full of charm, with period features, this unique property is a nature lover’s haven. Its spacious, bright and south facing with an absolutely extraordinary views including the Pyrenees. It’s a place you can fall in love with. Built of stone and great wooden beams that date to the early 1800s, and support the cathedral ceiling. The garden is huge, surrounded by fields, it’s a great place to play, run and hide or just eat outside, BBQ or enjoy a glass of wine. All rooms are large. It has a lounge with open fireplace, large fitted kitchen with dining area + utility room, and mezzanine open lounge, 4 bedrooms, 3 en suite shower rooms with toilets, 1 bathroom with toilet and 1 toilet downstairs. Kitchen and living area give onto the garden.
Garden furniture and BBQ are available for guest use and stored in the garage.
Non-smoking family home. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Good WiFi connection is provided through a dongle.
Just 15 minutes from shops and all amenities in Revel (10m) and 10 minutes from the Lac de St Ferreol (7km) where you can swim, picnic, walk, cycle or do other sports. A multitude of things to do and see in the surrounding area, from cycling along the Canal de Midi to visiting the beautiful medieval city of Carcassonne.
Dogs welcome but not cats due to allergies. There are animals on this property as the neighbour has both cats and dogs, and there are sheep in the fields surrounding the property.
Mezzanine has a Futon which can sleep an additional 2 persons.

You will need a car. 1 hour 15mins from Toulouse Airport; and 45 minutes from Carcassonne airport (for RyanAir).
You'll have access to the whole house and garden. The neighbourgh, Danou lives in the former sheeps barn on the property, but both residences are independent of each other with separate access.

Elizabeth, who manages the property for us will greet you and orientate your stay when you come. She and her husband speak both French and English.
Other things to note
Please note that house depends on well water which is filtered through a UV filter, but not adviseable to drink without boiling. We provide some bottled water to start off your stay, but there after younwill need to buy your own. Please use water mindfully without waste. Thanks
