Beautiful charming stone house from 1715 with 2 private rooms and bathrooms in a small village of 80 people. 90 min from Paris and 50 min from Champagne. Farmhouse style and antique decoration for a relaxing and cosy stay.

The space

The house can accommodate 4 people, with possibility of adding two more beds.
A bedroom on the main floor with private bathroom with bathtub.
One bedroom upstairs with private "italian" shower.

With a farmhouse spirit, charm has interfered in every corner. Godin stove, rolling factory baskets, metal antique style suspensions, old tiles and many rustic elements make this cottage a pure pleasure to rest in.

Spacious cottage with a full equipped kitchen, living room and two privates bedrooms. Two wood fireplaces can be used, one in the kitchen and one in the living room.

You can relax in a large garden with chairs, table and sunloungers. Some games are provided (petanque, croquet and badminton).

Guest access

Private parking for 2 or 3 cars.

Interaction with guests

We (Nathalie et Bernard) will be pleased to welcome you and show you the house. We give good advices about what to visit around.

Tricky parking with a midsize to a large vehicle, but the atmosphere and gracious hosts make that worth figuring out. Excellent central location not too far (15 - 20 mins) from the basics like grocery stores. Can be tricker to find nearby restaurants and larger shops open later that aren't too pricey, but a nicely equipped kitchen and nearby village markets and shops make that a minor if you like to cook. Quiet location and very relaxing\0. Second bedroom area in back of the house is a little tricky to get to via a small spiral stairway, but worth it if you can make it up the stairs (I could but my wife couldn't). Hosts are fantastic and bent over backward to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Just Wow! If you are after a quiet and relaxing time in a traditional French village then this is the place that you should go! There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and the cottage is spacious and has all the amenities you could need. We stayed during summer time, but we would love to head back and stay in winter to enjoy the two large fireplaces. The location is also perfect if you want to get out for a run or on the bike - we were lucky enough to see Deer in a few places. Fanny was our host and she was great, catering for anything that we needed during our stay. A magical place.

Nathalie and Bernard's cottage is a French countryside dream. Picture perfect in every way. The only sounds you'll hear are birdsong and the laughter of locals playing pétanque. If you want to feel you've stepped into the pages of World of Interiors, this is the Air BnB for you. Bernard was a charming host, bringing us croissant in the morning, recommending local excursions and booking us a table at a local restaurant. A la prochaine dips, Nathalie et Bernard!

Simply Amazing! I cannot Say enough in words to describe the thoughtful beauty Nathalie and Bernard have put into this little castelet. The town is simply precious times two! Definitely bring your groceries and wines, there is no grocer, market or restaurant for many miles. On the contrary, the owners are SO gracious they have offered to have food and drinks at your request available. They had a fire burning in one of the fantastic original fireplaces, as we arrived on a cold and rainy evening after long travels, we were tres appreciative of such grace. The beautiful people that recreated this place of true peace are the most delightful hosts with whom we have ever stayed in France.

Have just returned from a relaxing stay at this stunning house. It was much bigger and more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. The house was very clean and I am very picky about such things. We felt very at home here. We were the second people to stay here and there were, as you could expect, a few teething troubles but Nathalie was over immediately to sort them out. She even asked if she could light a fire for us one day when we asked where we could buy wood. When we came home from a day out it was very welcome. There is nothing I would change about this place....wonderful!!! Thank you Places to visit nearby that we enjoyed were Laon and the Champagne cellars in Reims. We also went to Paris which was about 2 hours by car and easy to get to.
