This is a comfortably homey place with a wonderful host. Best adjective for both--grandmotherly. We had wonderful weather in mid-May, cool at night, sunny during the day. Not sure how staying here would be if weather were hot.

Response from Kathryn:
Thank you, Mary and Scott, Word from those who have stayed here during the hottest weeks say it is comfortable, probably because the house is well insulated and the fans blow in the cool night air. Those who live on the coast know that it is about 10 degrees warmer in winter than inland and 10 degrees cooler in summer.
