However many times guests such as yourself tend to forget we are not a hotel, we must live our daily routine lives and we do live here too!
When you arrived my apologies for not being able to enter your room immediately as TERMINEX was inspecting the home for any treatment needed.
During the time you were staying with us we did have other guests & sometimes they did leave dirty dishes in the sink. I did note that myself. I apologized personally to you and explained why the dishes were there.
Every morning not one dish was left in the sink because I cleaned the kitchen every morning.
Sometimes guest do leave dishes, not often, not many & it truly doesn’t irritate me to that extent! Hey your on vacation! Maybe you had a rough night or were tired! I really try not to be so hard! It doesn’t happen often!
You also complained about me having too many appliances on my kitchen counter. Honestly I truly was perplexed and didn’t know how to respond to that. All appliances are for the use of all guests. To make everyone’s stay as comfy as possible! I try to use my space and best as possible. We have a microwave, coffee maker, electrical hot water thermal & a toaster.
We also conversed thoroughly and candidly about me donating much clothing/diapers and more which I was organizing and packing in the living room. I was happy to be able to donate to my fellow brother or sister whom may have lost everything in the storm and needs a helping hand! You mention “a mess yet don’t divulge all information. That is slightly disappointing.
My office table did have papers on it as I was preparing for tax season.
I do always take guests experience into consideration! I try to learn from every experience to be a better host! Being a host for over 2 years I have learned a lot about hosting and guest! Overall the majority of my guest are happy & understanding, other times not! Sometimes the reasons are unwarranted or over exaggerated. Ultimately, I just try my best!
